Victor's mom came for a visit this past weekend. Last time Lela visited she had brought a crochet hook upon Grace's request, and she worked hard with Grace trying to teach her. But Grace found it confusing, her mind just wasn't quite able to get the knack of it. So Lela told her that it might be easier for her to work with two needles instead of one hook. So this time she brought with her shiny blue knitting needles and a ball of super soft yarn. Sure enough, Grace found the steps involved in knitting much more to her liking! She practiced and practiced all weekend, looking to Lela's patient guidance when she forgot a step or ran into a snarl. Her tongue worked as much as her fingers, wiggling about with each instance of careful concentration.
